Ron, Rudder Replacement
« on: April 12, 2010, 11:10:55 AM »
Ron,

I got the 82 Skier out this past weekend for the first time this year.  Running great........:)

If you recall, I need to get a replacement rudder for the old girl. I took a few upclose pictures under the floor and I will post them here tonight so that we can figure out what rudder I need. From there, I would like to purchase a new or used one from you depending on what you have available.  Never replaced a rudder before but I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Thanks,

phil

they are easy enough to drop out the post length and width is required and height of the bolt slot
while it's out you'll need to inspect the port too

Ok, I posted the pics in my User Album. http://velvet1.homeip.net:8080/~amskier/forum/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=album;id=12

You should be able to see the picture at full size. After you initially click on the picture click on "more details" then click the picture again. Will those work or do you need more detail?
