I have a 1988 American skier that Is part of the estate of the previous owner. The boat was last used about four years ago before the owners death. I have a walkaround fishing boat myself but I know very little about this boat. I believe it has a 454 in it but not sure.
I was planning on keeping this, fixing it up, run it around a little and then sell it. The trailer needed an axle and I went out to measure for axles I discovered the trailer is rotted beyond what I want to repair. The trailer is unusable at this time.
So I am offering this boat for free, the boat needs a good compounding and cleaning but as far as mechanical all I know is the boat was used all summer prior to his passing.
So #1 You need a trailer!
