Boat Cover

Someone post a picture of you covered boat with the pole attached. I purchased an awesome cover from Ron but figured Id cheap out on the pole. I mean how hard could it be to make a pvc post with a base right? Its not hard but after I installed it I question my logic and if its in the right place. If its going to rub through the cover.

If anyone has a shot or can take on of their boat with a cover post it up. Im looking for some reassurance that Im not doing this wrong.
