Prop Question
« on: August 25, 2013, 09:10:02 PM »
I need some help replacing my damaged prop on my 84 american skier. The only numbers I have found on it are 13x12 which I assume is the diameter and pitch. Can someone tell me the cup and shaft size? Also I am gonna have to spend 400 dollars on a new prop or are there other options? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I went down to Wilmington propeller and got mine reincarnated.
Think it was around 200.00 dollars. For that they fixed all the cracks dings and gouges.
  Then it's pitched and trued.
Mine works awesome no vibration at all.
Let me know if you want the ph#

OEM Prop was a 13 x 12 x 1   13" Dia. x 12" pitch, x 1" Shaft dia. LEFT, 3 blade with "heavy Cup" some call it "double cup" if going to a CNC machined prop consult with the prop manufacturer & give them these numbers as the OEM sand cast prop dimensions, many of the newer machined props will convert to a lower pitch number.
