ah ya know - this is the longest I've ever owned the same (physically the same) boat and it's 1 of 3 amskiers stored @ the barn and all 3 used on the same lake, I can make it a few weeks ........... oh and John got a sneak peak on Thursday, based on his response he didn't even realize it - though his VM this morning had a completely different tone.

I gotta tell you, I've always thought that a late model, all composite Advance with that Marine Power engine would be really cool to run through its paces (didn't the Laser use the Advance hull?)
How good were these boats compared to the earlier model years and how good were those engines?

Same Hull Mold, Slightly different deck mold, 200-300# lighter, depending on model year considerably more HP, averaged about 5 MPH faster & even  more fun to drive.
