I went to replace my trailer's brake shoes and discovered I had to replace or rebuild the wheel cylinders as well... Not too tough a job until I started looking for parts. Most automotive parts stores DONT cross-reference trailer part #s (not even brake shoes) so they are usually no help. Went to a trailer store and had to pay $100 for two sets of brake pads (rip off!). Rebuild kit for the wheel cylinders were $4.00... Got it all done and was in the process of bleeding the lines when I noticed the Master Cylinder wasnt putting out any pressure... Looked inside and found RUST... lots of rust... BUMMER! Cleaned it out... again... again... again... Still clogging up and not pushing any brake fluid... Back to square one.
I'd be really appreciative if anyone has a line on a good new/used Master Cylinder or directions on how to refurbish this one... I dont want to go back to the trailer / rip-off store if I dont have to

Thanks,
Joel
