Thanks Ron
« on: March 23, 2012, 09:05:34 AM »
For those of you that do not know me, ( all but Ron ), my name is Keith. Ron walked me through a floor replacement on my 85 Advance this past fall. What a wealth of knowledge this guy is. We are all very fortunate to have someone who is so generous with his knowledge.
Ron the floor turned out great, I have had the boat in the water since the 13th, are you aware of the 80 degree days we have had in the great midwest ? our lake is up to 73 degress as of yesterday !
with the new floor and floatation foam, the hull is like new solid, with a smaller wake as well. last year my neighbor would not even ski behind my boat do to the large wake. He has a late model Nautique he has prefered. Yesterday he gave me the thumbs up on the renovations, a wake comperable to his own.

I wasn't done, is it the tab key I hit that posts inadvertently

Ron, I still owe you some picks of the finished interior, I got the upholstery back a few weeks ago. Between the new rug and vinyl, she is like brand new.
I would post them for all to see, but am somewhat technically challenged. if anyone has the time to post a tutorial on how to post pics, that would be great.
      Thanks, Keith

Thanks Joel,
Her name is Sadie, though I offen thing I should have named her Spot, short for , Spot'r, as she is mine.
It pains me a little to continue having her climb aboard, but of coarse she would not understand " no Sadie, I just replaced the Vinyl". When this boat leaves the doak she is either right there or crying in the house. Leave without her.... She'll swim out after me. she also knows this is the only boat on the lake she is allowed on.
happy boating, thanks for the 'welcome' Joel.

if anyone has the time to post a tutorial on how to post pics, that would be great.

1) Go to "Gallery" or "Image Gallery" from home page.
2) In the menu at the top click on "upload file".
3)Next to album drop down the menu and select which album you want to upload your picture into.
4)Click "browse" to browse to the pictures you want to upload. If you have more than one picture you can select multiples by using SHIFT + UP or DOWN arrows. Or by holding CTRL and clicking on the images.

That should do it.

Yeah, I wasn't able to transfer everyones personal photo albums to the new gallery. However, if you re-create your personal gallery I can add your old photos.

You can create your new personal photo album by following these steps:

1) Go to the gallery
2)On the top hover your mouse over "my profile" then click on "create order my albums"
3)Click on "new album", enter a name of your album and click "ok" after your album has been created.

Once your new album has been created you'll be able to upload photos to your specific album. I'll also add your old photos to it.

Keith, I'd love to see photos of the floor work, if you can figure out how to post.  I will be doing a floor job myself this year or next.  Ron has already given me some great pointers, but I'd still love to see photos.
