Is anybody interested in a barefoot boom - very nice, cables are good, no chaffing, etc...  I'm looking for $150.  I can bring it with me to the Reunion so SHIPPING wont cost a small fortune...  I'm too damn old to take up barefootin' now & my kids are not interested...

Any takers???

Joel,
I want that boom.  But I will not be at the reunion.  Maybe we could work something out.  Do you know anyone who frequents Kansas?  I could easily go as far as Missouri but beyond that it gets far out.

John,  Not even Dorothy goes to Kansas anymore!!!    ::)    I think the closest guy who's going to the Reunion would be Dan Tanis and he's in Indiana I think... still too far   :(   If no one picks it up at this one - I'll save it for you at the NEXT Reunion.

John,

I will be heading to KC on Mon from the reunion so I could bring it with me if you want to meet me sometime on Mon night or Tues morning.  I will be leaving back for Texas on Tues sometime.  I head south towards Joplin from KC as I am not sure where you are. Or I could alter my route back to Dallas a little more and take 35 to Emporia then on to Witchita.  It will add some time onto my travel but it wont kill me.  Just let me know if that will work.

SEVEN DAYS and counting down!!!!    8)   I AM STOKED!!!!

Everyone:  When your checking in be sure to ask the desk clerk for the Cottage # for Joel Roberts...  Also, check the boat ramp as we may be working on Phil's rudder replacement.  I should be hangin' around most of Friday a.m. & afternoon.  I'm planning to go for a ski in the p.m. after the lake smooths out - let me know if you wanna go too!!!  :)  :)

I'll bring the kid's skis (small & adult), a nice sized tube and a decent knee board.  Everyone is welcome to borrow the kid's skis, tube or kneeboard if you dont have any or would like to try out something...

p.s.  I'll bring my Barefoot Boom and/or my Skylon Wakeboard Pole (slips over the pylon) if anyone is interested in buying either one.  They are priced at $150 each - very good prices and both are in great condition.   They came with the boat and I dont use them ( I like to Slalom ).  If I dont any interest or an offer PRIOR to June 16th they WONT be in the boat (too heavy and gas $$ is gonna be tough as it is).

Looking forward to meeting everyone!!!  Please write on here or PM me if you have any questions, comments or concerns!!

Mike,  Which one?   The barefoot boom is a completely separate unit from the Skylon.  Both are made out of hi-grade aluminum and are pretty hefty units - very well made.  The barefoot pole comes in two pieces that fit together and bolts around the top of the pylon, lays horizontally, hanging over the side, with covered cable that connects to the bow eye.  The Skylon slips over top of the pylon, stands vertically, with a cable & loop that fits over the bow (through the bow eye).  Cant use both at the same time.

I'm too old to learn how to barefoot and too stubborn to learn how to wakeboard...  ;)

Ron,  I'd do the same if I were in your shoes (or flip flops)...  We'll find you both sooner or later  ;)   LOL!!!!

I' m going to be more than ready for a Mai Tai with a little umbrella & watch someone else work on ski boats for a while. Where I'm located the majority of my work is on 30-40' Fountains & other go-fast boats, but this past month has been almost all ski boats, Volante,  a TBX, my Hydrodyne, there's an engine hanging from a LazAir that needs a diaper change, a 2012 BrandX wakeboard boat awaiting a shaft alignment to a 600hp supercharged 2013 prototype engine, and a 2012 brand x promo boat with 12 hours on it that just blew a rear main oil seal at a local tournament this afternoon and in my spare time this weekend I'm going to Florida to pick up a ragged out Advance for me & my boys to play with. (I'm sure my youngest boy will want to rebuild this one before the reunion...too many of those damn TV shows that rebuild stuff overnight) Can't wait to drive this one the guy swears it runs 55mph by gps, must be one of those kilometer gps's
