American Skier Gifts
« on: October 14, 2014, 02:16:25 PM »
Several A/S owners have requested various gift items to be added to the parts site before Christmas arrives. I have some unique A/S exclusive things coming and should begin arriving around Nov. 1.  In addition to that work has resumed on the walnut shift knobs with Skier Girl Emblem, and I am trying to pull these together before Christmas as well. Will post here when they are listed on the parts site.

I would imagine you will sell out of the walnut shift knob/skier girls in a few hours.  I know I want one!

The first 2 items have arrived and are in stock, a really cool coffee cup with the old school logos on the front & the new style on the back. The next item is a custom printed wall clock similar to what was awarded at the last reunion. These have the Old style logos printed on the face. Shift knobs will not be available until mid Dec. at best, the cloisonne logo's are being made now & will not be here until sometime in Dec.

Look under the American Skier Parts tab, then American Skier Gifts

The mug and clocks are cool! Just took a look at them. Im sure if my wife doesn't pick them up for me for the holidays Ill do so myself shortly after.

If these happen to sell very well and you ever decide to do another run, Id like to suggest something with an Advance shield logo......... I understand the skier girl logos history and that there is a lot of love for it. Ive added one of your skier girl decals to my Advance in fact just because it is so cool! But didn't American Skier sell more Advance models than any other  ;D?

Im also thinking if eventually this stuff does well, if we could get the graphic on a cup that will fit in the cup holders on the boat that would be trick. Like a Trevis cup with a snap on lid.................. just a suggestion

Anyhow, good stuff as usual Ron! Looking forward to seeing the shift knobs as well!

Last remaining parts for the Walnut shift knob arrived yesterday! (Cloisonne emblems, hand made probably by 10 year old Chinese girls, only took 3 years to get! And they look awesome! Now the fun begins.
PIC: The detail in the 1.115" diameter 4 color emblem is incredible, they hand place the colored glass powder into the raised metal "sections" then bake to melt the glass powder into the glossy glass finish.
PIC: hand turned unfinished walnut with emblem just set in for picture.

Paul, I released these on my web site a few weeks ago, first batch nearly sold out, second batch of blank walnut turnings came in yesterday. These things are quite tedious to make.
