Finally got out on the water this weekend with my '81. Repacked rudder, cleared up some electrical gremlins, and replaced front bow eye (not fun crawling up there!). After some minor temperature issues she ran great! (took off hose to transmission cooler and to impeller and didn't find much, but after that it was fixed...ran right around 140-160 water temp. Looks like I'll be rebuilding the impeller though since there's a slight drip from one of the weep holes.
Had a good time slaloming and wake boarding. Next trip I'll take more pictures. This is docked in the Bainbridge Boat Basin on the Flint river in South Georgia. I'm sure the boat loved it being in fresh water after the past six years of salt!
