Dash is coming together, and I got a huge box O new parts thanks to my buddies a Colabella Performance here in Saint Cloud that is going to keep me buisy for the next day or two! Im pumped if you cant tell  ;D

The wood is mohagony, it matches my steering wheel, my step plates, and my knob..... which Im still waiting to see if the new ones are going to be made yet. Sooner or later the swim platform is going to be mohagony also, so everything is uniform.

The speedos and the other gauges are different (of course) but I pulled the rings on the airguides and taped the other gauges and sprayed with a texture black. I think it is pulled off pretty nicely.

It will really shine once I oil it, or clear it.... not sure which yet.

The other two holes are for my depth finder and my new hour meter (Thats right, 0 hours boys and girls) which are coming today  ;) both white face, and Ive gotta spray those rings as well.

Cut dash today  :-\ wasnt really excited about doing it, but with my gauge setup it had to be done. Not that its anything anyone will ever know or see, I just hate to cut "factory" stuff up. Oh well.

So today so far, Dash complete and final fitted. Taken back apart for sealer/clear on the wood then back together she goes after clear cures.
Rear blower hole cover painted/reinstaled. New rear light installed. Rear lift hook "loop" installed. New stainless fuel tank filler neck installed (also filler hose). Fuel tank installed. Fuel line to pump ran and installed. Breather line for tank installed (with a loop). 1 new blower installed beside transmission with new line. (also for anyone looking at my other posts I went with the regular line instead of some rigged up thing, its only 6 easy to get to bolts to lean the tank forward to replace the hose). also 1 going under bow when I get in there to wire everything.

As SOON as the dash is back together and I get the steering in it, she is ready for a test run. Not complete, but ready for a test run........ oh yeah and as soon as I get my tag for it or my cop friend wants to ride with me.   ;)

Back of the boat complete. Putting on the 4th coat of sealer on the dash now! One more sanding and its time for the clear coat. Then rudder cable and all gauges go in. Ill be done except for rub rail and the seats.

Thank goodness

(pardon all the dirt and debris)

No real pictures of this process, but it is just a pretty under the dash as it is anywhere else on the boat in my opinion. This weekend I got everything wired in. Battery and ground cables (welding lead), all of the dash and gauges, all lights, 2 blowers, ect. ect.

Only problem I have had is with the oil pressure gauge. I think its becuase I have the wrong type sending unit (either normally open or closed) because the pressure shows off the charts when I turn the key on. Everything else appears to be working properly. All that is left is to run the alternator wire and wire up the choke (and fix the oil pressure) and Ill be in the water testin her out.

Could be as early as this evening!!!

OH yeah, steering is all hooked back up as well..... and all appears to be working properly there.

Put her in the water tonight. On the trailer only. She ran flawlessly.

I have a couple of questions I need answered I need to post in the other areas of the forum though.
