Oil Pan Drain Hose
« on: August 04, 2011, 03:09:51 PM »
I'd like to replace the oil pan drain hose this fall when I winterize the boat.  I have the Indmar/Ford 351 in a 1992 Legend.  Any suggestions on where to fine one?  Indmar?  Marine supply house?  Autozone?

I have a couple around here, there are different thread sizes, my older Indmar had 1/2-13, alot of newer ones are metric, I think my others are metric. Is yours bad???

It doesn't leak.......yet, but the hose looks to have deteriorated.  It may just be surface breakdown, but for me it's a PM issue.  I guess I'll have to take it off to determine the threat size.

Correct, a definite off season project.
