Skier Upgrades
« on: May 23, 2010, 07:04:13 AM »
I am putting the floor in my boat in the next 2 weeks. The top of the boat is seperated from the hull. I was wondering what any of you have done in the past with your boats to upgrade. Cooler built in the floor is something I am thinking about. Is there anything else that any of you would recommend or say dont do?

Thanks!

Replace with composite floor, reinforc where the drivers seat screws down (bottom side of floor) add 3" pvc pipe section along stringer ahead of pylon to route wiring, steering cable etc. through & out of the bilge water, keep it short enough to pull the steering cable through.

Thanks Ron,
Lucky for me I used to be a butcher and kept the old poly blocks when they were changed out. Thats what I am putting in for flooring. I will for sure look into the 3" pipe. Sounds like a good idea to keep everything together and not all over the floor.

Anyone else have any ideas or opinions? Any at all.... Id like to look at all angles before I have the floor in and say "I wish I had done that"
