Greetings everyone - I'm new to this site and new to American Skier (not new to boats in general). My wife and I just bought a '97 Volante last weekend!! The previous owner was meticulous in the care of this boat and it really is turn-key. This is our first inboard, so I'm sure there is a wealth of knowledge here that we will learn from - I'm already considering checking out the shaft alignment steps that Ron posted.
I think it's incredible that resources like Ron and Dan are participating on this board - thanks for what you bring to the party!!
The reunion sounds like a great time - wish we could make the trek - come out west a bit (Coeur d'alene, Columbia River, Powell, Mead, Mohave) and we'll be there!
