The driver's seat on my 1990 Volante is quite serviceable, but it is very hard to move on the seat rails. I presume this is do to years of gunk buildup. What is the best way to work on these rails? Is it OK to remove the numerous screws on the base of the seat, or is this likely to lead to future leaks at the screw holes? Does the seat normally slide off the rails with the base still attached to the floor? Does it work to spray the rails with the seat in place?
Thanks for the help.
