A/S Eagle IB Total Production #
« on: February 27, 2011, 08:05:47 PM »
We have an 24' A/S Eagle inboard built in 1988 with a FWC 454 Chevy IB and Custom A/S Eagle trailer.
The big skiboat is Bright "Fire Engine" Red with white topsides.
It has a to-tone gray interior and sun pad.
We have owned this fantastic boat since new in 1988 !
It is used each and every year~~~all summer long !
We now have 1500 hours on the engine hour meter~~~
Over the years we have been stopped by other boaters/skiers asking where they could buy one .
We have also turned down a number of good offers over the years to sell this boat~~~
We have NO plans of selling it !

These boats do not "Pop-Up" For Sale on the web very often~~~

    To Ron Tanis & others~~~
We have often wondered about total production numbers on the Eagle inboard~~~
How many 24' Eagle straight inboard skiboats were originally built ?
Red & White 1988 A/S 24' Eagle I/B
 FWC Indmar/Chevy 454 Cu In  I/B
Owned Since New !

Exact records went down with the the WESMAR ownership days, when they sold the molds to me they claim they had lost all records. (USCG requires these records to be kept for recall reasons) I field at least one inquiry a year from law enforcement with a question over boat identification. My best guess is less than 50 over the entire run, the sterndrive version both the Eagle II and Comanche was even less. The same mold that your boat came from is still around, I have the last hull & deck that came from the mold set & used it to develop a V-Drive wakeboard boat. That boat was awesome & when Favret bought the Company in 2001 he had no interest in that model (said ski boats will never sell beyond 20' ) I still have my prototype hull & deck, in fact I used the bottom dimensions to pattern my Mahogany boat project from. Glad to hear you are still enjoying the boat, that's what its all about!
