Hey daximus how was your trip. Any pics ? I'd love to see them. Like to see the lakes you go to. I have pics on both my I phone and a camera. Any tips to a total computer illiterate on how to post them?
There are two ways to do pictures.
One is to use another website to host them (imageshack or something) then paste the link to them using the [img*][/img*] (minus the *). You have to upload them to the other site, once uploaded they normally provide you with a link for this sort of thing.
The other way (the way I do it) is to attach them directly to this site. To do this, first I re-size them (use Office, MS paint, or any other photo program). I put them to 800x600 as this seems to fit the forum well. Once re-sized hit the "Attachment and other options" link below the dialog box (the box you type messages into). You will see a "choose file" button...hit that, find your picture, and there you go. With this method they show up as small pictures that people can click on to see bigger.
There might be other ways...but that's how I do it. Speaking of, here are a couple of pictures from my last outing. They aren't great, but I never remember my camera when something fun is happening, haha.
My trip was great, the weather wasn't awesome...but still I had a great time. A bad day at the lake is better than the best day at work.
Here is a crappy video...about 7am right in the middle of the lake. Nothing to see really, but it's the lake I was at.
And some random pictures. Picture of my friends boat off in the distance pulling, another friend of mine getting way outside the wake, picture of me being happy that the boat still floats after I put it together, and finally a shot of it bobbing around in our "party cove" (it was a little early in the cove for shenanigans).
