Hey folks, just made an offer on one. Been sitting for a long time. Complete and unmolested and with the correct trailer. Has a soft floor by the drivers seat, so with that said, is it a safe bet I'll have some stringer rot under that area? Were these boats foamed or all open beneath the floor?

I have a '92 Legend which has some soft spots in the floor.  From my discussions with Ron Tanis, I'm hopeful it's just the floor.  Stringer damage is not common.  But I'm afraid the only way to know for sure it to open it up.  Also, I understand there is foam under the floor and most likely it is soaked and will need to be replaced.  That apparently is a common problem.
I'm sure Ron will chime in on your question.  He is a fantastic resource!

Well, if the boat is foamed, and that foam is soaked, which is likely with the soft floor, and extended period outside, I can't imagine the stringers WOULND't be shot!

Update....the seller is way too proud of it for my offer.....another one that is destined to rot I'm afraid.
