Tow Pylon issues?
« on: May 16, 2010, 10:45:44 PM »
Did any of the american skier's particularly 1991 legend have any issues with the tow pylon? Reason i ask was my 230 lbs brother was skiing this morning and the thing was sure creaking.  I need to check it may just be  where the pylon touches the cover.  I know they are supposed to flex but i felt like he was putting a hurting on it.  Just curios thanks!!

Mine creeked a little bit a while back. I tightened the U shaped bold (2 of them if I recall correctly) at the base of the pylon and it fixed it. Though I wouldn't crank it too tight.

Well i had one u shaped bolt and after snugging it up no more noise.  Now if it would just stop raining in seattle I could ski in the morning with out being pelted!!!!!!!
Nothing like forgetting your wetsuit and skiing on the lake while looking at snow in the foothills.

After living in the NW (Port Orchard) for four years... all I can say is it will continue to rain all the way through the 4th of July weekend.  On July 5th the sun comes out and its beautiful for the next three months...  then it rains for another NINE months!!!!  Good luck buddy ;)
