Obsolete TBI Fuel Pump replacement ideas???
« on: August 21, 2017, 06:24:16 PM »
I seemed to have dodged a bullet for the time being.  I had an issue with the fuel pump fuse blowing on my 2001 Lazer and replaced the low pressure draw pump and haven't had an issue since.  My concern is that if the low pressure pump died the high pressure might have run dry and not be far behind it and they're no longer available.  Does anybody have a replacement pump that works for the high pressure pump?  I saw some mastercraft forums that were replacing with a single inlet pump and plugging the "y" from the return hose.  Any ideas are appreciated, I'd like to get ahead of this one.  Thanks

Marine Power has asked me to create a replacement kit for these (they have been out for 18 mo.) I have a kit running now on a local A/S Marine Power EFI engine & its working better than the original. The last piece of the puzzle arrived today & is sitting on my desk. Should have limited supply of these kits avail. next week.
