Title: New to site, New American Skier Boat owner, Thanks to DanT.

Very experienced Saltwater boater just purchased a 1993 Volante sold new on Maui, where we live. Never owned a trailer for anything, learning to back up a trailer is an interesting experience. Researched Ski boats and joined this forum, could not quite pull the purchase trigger, called and talked to DanT for almost an hour (Thank You very much). Waffled on a decision and the owner came around as you suggested he would Dan. Our main concern was owning a ski boat used only  in open ocean swells and wind chop. We sea trailed the boat May 1st in one to two foot swells with six inch wind chop, it was an absolute blast, much better than we expected.Boat is lightly used, but suffers care issues, motor plenty strong. My wife must boat and the purchase choices on Maui are somewhat limited, but we are now owners of an American Skier Boat. My wife will not allow pictures until she details the boat. Just an introductory post and a public thank you to Dan. :)
