Title: Bikes, who's got um

Who else out there is a 2 wheeler? Write it up and let us all know what you got.

Me: 2005 Black Cherry Harley Davidson Night Train. Alot of custom work to stock parts. I dont get off on buying alot of parts, but because I powdercoat...... alot of the stock parts are now not so stock. All black infact. Some flat, some gloss, some wrinkle. Just a little touch of me here and there to make it mine. Dont ride it as much as Id like to because of all the dang work, but she's got about 7000 miles on her.

I ride an old 1996 (first year they made 'em) Yamaha Royal Star - the grandfather of the Star line of bikes. She's black & tan, 1300 cc, V-4, shaft drive, four pipes all the way back to the rear fender. Its a BIG bike, fortunately cause I'm 6'2", but its lowered and has all the extra chrome & leather the previous owner could buy... I got it with only 2,700 miles - I love guys with too much $$ and no sense... She has 50K miles on her now and I've ridden it everywhere. All I ever do is change the tires, oil & the rearend grease - damn near bullet proof! Oh almost forgot, I'm on my second set of spark plugs... :)

Thinking of getting a 2004/2005 Honda Rune for my 50th Birthday, but my better half doesnt want ANOTHER stupid motorcycle next to the OTHER stupid motorcycle... next to the stupid BOAT!!!! :) Gotta love 'em ;)

Post by: phil on October 19, 2010, 08:50:09 PM: I use to have a 2006 1200 Custom that was piped and jetted but I sold it two summers ago. I bought it brand new and put 7700 miles on her before I got rid of it. My dad also has a 2006 and 86(?) low rider. The 2006 is bone stock and the older one with the evolution motor has drag pipes on it and it screams like a raped ape. I also use to have a 98 Honda CBR F3 that was piped and jetted. I had fun on that for a while but eventually sold it too.

If any of you guys are riding down Interstate 70 stop into Hays and ask for John Kyle. As far as what I ride its a 1935 VLD Harley. Im in the process of restoring her.

Mike it's an experience to watch Ron put pizza away!

My other Sled is 2003 Kawasaki ZZR1200 , Yes it FAST, no you can't ride it.
Pearl mystic Black, Chrome wheels, swing arm, kick stand, rear grab handles, bar ends, blue neons, stobes and LEDs underneath
my neighbor and I rode around lake MI this summer, nice little 1200 mile cruise..........

Original sticker was $14K with all the options available (about $4K worth) on top of that. She's very well taken care of and has 51K miles. Looks gorgeous & mechancially sound - I ride it everywhere, across town across states - no issues ever. I'm asking $4,000 OBO...

The reason being, I got a 1986 Porsche 928S for my 50th and dont have enough room in the garage... Sooooo the Porsche wins!!! If you know anyone who's looking for a VERY nice bike please send 'em my way. My personal email is robertsiv@hotmail.com.

Post by: 56mulberry on June 26, 2011, 09:34:33 PM: 1999 Suzuki Bandit 1200S with full Dale Walker Holeshot stage 1 performance kit...includes pipe, ign advancer, carbs, airbox--all blacked out--Corbin seat, carbon fiber stuff all over--NO CHROME ANYWHERE!!! and absolutley my favorite bike ever and i've had about 25 of them over the past 25 years! ALSo put a 07 GSXR1000 rear shock and some Progressive fork springs up front.......handles sweet too----One crazy FAST and COMFY bike--hard to get both in the same package but the Bandit 1200 nailed it.

He didnt even bother turning on his lights... Guess he figured he's scrap us (yes, US) up off the street later... The year was 1979 and we were on a 1978 Kawasaki 900, bored out, jetted, four into one header, blued, screwed & tatooed FAST!!!

I think I'll stick to 4 wheels when I get the "need for speed" I've had the Porsche up to 125 mph which is enough to get my jollies and I can still hear REO Speedwagon playing 157 Riverside Avenue on the stereo... ;)
