Title: When did AMERICAN SKIER start the Fiberglass stringers and Floors?
Post by: wettrthebetter on July 26, 2018, 05:23:39 PM
I have a 1991 American Skier , Advance ,19ft.
I just got her , she's a solid boat. It appears to have Fiberglass floor and stringers,
Not totally sure on the stringers, but they are solid and white in color.
I got her at a great price , she just needed a propshaft and strut  bushings
Here is a photo of her.

Under the white edge that engine mount screws to I mounted 3/4" angle Aluminum to support engine base floor.

The wood  stringers should be wrapped in fiberglass and then gel coated or painted.  Thats how my 89 is constructed.

My 88 Advance has the the fir stringers.  Floors were fiberglass in 88.
