Title: Extended pylon for '82 Skier
Post by: footinmichigan on March 08, 2016, 05:59:23 AM
I have an '82 19' Skier and am looking to purchase an extended pylon (Fly high, skylon, etc).  The question I have is on my current pylon, it has two "ears" just below where the rope attaches.  Are their any extended pylons you would recommend that would fit over or behind the existing pylon?  Or will I have to cut off the ears to make it fit?  Thanks.

Seems we get this question at least a couple times a year and the answer is the same every time. DON'T CUT THE EARS OFF!!!!!!!! No extended pylon will fit over them. Check this out first http://www.tachyonmotorsports.com/sdbm.html (http://www.tachyonmotorsports.com/sdbm.html)

They're rather pricey but they're well built and worth every penny. I've had one for at least 10 or 12 years now and know of at least a couple dozen other guys that have them. Everyone swears by them.
