Is it true that I should replace my Holley carburetor on my American Skier with a marine carburetor? Not an automotive carburetor.

No question about it. Its a safety concern. Like BIG BOOM possibly safety concerns.

Just FYI, Holley is not the only manufacturer that produces marine specific carbs.

How do you know if you have a marine type or not??

List number on the air horn and then look it up on Holley List number cross reference.
