Post by: mattj on August 22, 2013, 09:48:41 PM: Hello , any good suggestions on a online supplier for a new boat cover. not looking to spend a fortune but trying to avoid the generic big box store replacement covers.

I would try contacting Ron or Dan. I'm sure that they can set you up with a good quality cover that would fit your boat perfectly.

My second suggestion would be to get one made from a local upholsterer to you. I've had very good luck with that in the past. You just need to check around for one that does good work.

I would really try to steer clear of just ordering one online unless they have the exact dimensions of your boat. I've never seen one of those that fits really good or lasts and I know quite a few guys who have bought them.

Post by: RonT on August 25, 2013, 07:40:21 AM: I use the std. cover & have trailered with them since 1979, they have a perimeter draw string, & loops or optional nylon straps with buckles to tie them to the trailer. I really don't like remembering the days when i shoveled snow, but I did use them with snow loads, it helps if you have a kid brother that you can send out to brush the snow off occasionally.

Post by: PaulM on September 11, 2013, 09:16:39 PM: If one wants to keep your graphics sharp, consider purchasing a "waterline" cover. To get a good fit, it will probably have to be custom made.
