Title: "Plug in" Navigation lights

And are the navigation lights available?

Post by: RonT on August 18, 2013, 01:26:07 PM: That was either a std. Attwood or Perko light, round hole with orienting slot, 2 round pins for elect. connection, sound right, if so several were interchangeable, I've even seen these for sale at Wally world.

I think it's an Attwood if I look at the pictures.

Or is there no difference between the two?

Post by: Midskier on August 19, 2013, 08:01:10 PM: Carefully measure the length and width, some later models have been shorter overall the 2 screw holes at one end will line up but the other side may not cover the original 3rd hole

the actual fitting has 3 screw holes to mount the fitting to the deck - and the newest attwood fitting is about 3/8" (10cm?)
shorter than the old one

the 2 screw holes in the front will line up correctly, you will have to drill a new 3rd hole @ the rear of the fitting - unfortunately the new attwood fitting will not completely cover the original 3rd hole

Post by: backfoot100 on August 20, 2013, 02:05:38 PM: Yes, you should be able to buy the pole/light. I did that several yaers ago. Perko makes afew of them that should plug right in.
