Took the Advance out on her maiden voyage (this year) and she performed admirably!! Started right up, purred like a kitten, no smoke, no nothing but fine running. Temp gauge just below 160 F, oil pressure fine, voltage a little over 12 (low battery) so she's charging like its supposed to :) From a dead stop she JUMPS out of the hole! All this on last year's gas - no complaints from me that's for sure!!!
We are officially READY for the 3rd Annual Reunion!!

Glad to see your out and about. They launched my Dad's boat yesterday and almost sank it. Someone forgot to put the drain plugs back in. Just when you think that they can live without you, something like this happens.

Actually a very common oversight... "I thought YOU put the plug back in..." or "I thought YOU took the trailer straps off..." is a popular phrase heard sung at many a boat ramp!
Hope the boat wasn't damaged and they were able to enjoy the day :)

who do you think they'll blame for not installing the drain plugs :-X

Dad confessed to having them in his pocket. You know all to well how things work at the Smith cottage.
