Many of my American Skier callers preface their calls with "this may be a dumb question but....." and I will tell them there are no dumb questions, how can I help? Sometimes I would like to give a smart-ass answer but I try to refrain from that. But I can assure you that no questions have come from American Skier owners that even come close to what I get from local Cajuns. At least once a year I get a call to see if I can add flotation foam inside their boat "to help get it out da water mor". This afternoon a coon-ass called sayin his 150Johnson was goin up on da trailer on its own, how do i fix dat? I asked: do you mean the motor is tilting up when sitting on the trailer when nobody is around? He said yeah, every mornin dis week da damn thing is up when i get up in da mornin. I asked if there was any chance that kids were playing with it at night pushing the tilt switch on the cowling?? He responded, no way der ain't no kids around here,..... I couldn't help myself, I told him if his Johnson is getting up every morning without him doing it he either needs to splash cold water on it or call a priest. He laughed & said dat was da best answer any boat man told him today.
