As long as you have the ammo! Let us know how you do as soon as you get a chance. We'll be thinking about you.

Its a sad state of affairs when you gotta add AMMO to your emergency supplies... But, on second thought I guess its always been a standard item on the SURVIVAL list... Hopefully you wont have to shoot anyone wanting to do a little "salvage" work around your shop :)
Sounds like your prepared, but keep us in the loop anyway!

Well its Wed. at 1410hrs, 10 hrs. of rain down, 24 to go, lost power at 1040hrs while changing a fuel filter on a customers boat. Generator up, window A/C set up & running in Master bedroom. Now bored, but still have Charter Internet!! Oldest son Steven was activated early Monday morning, (La Air National Guard) Susan got a text this morning, they were leaving to rescue people from rooftops.

here you go
Friday am
No damage to our house or property. Just a lot of tree limbs down. We had 15 inches of rain total. Power and cable internet out since Weds so not to bad. Thank heavens for our generator!!! The only real threat to our area now is a possible damn break that would flood the river that goes through the middle of our parish, we are far enough away so no worries for us. Steven is busy with LA Air Guard saving Southeast LA. Haha actually he really hasn't done much but he is up by us because of the poss damn break. So that is all that is news here. Hope everything is good up there. Please forward this to Dan for me. Dan Ron said put a post on the Am Skier site that we are ok but powerless. Thanks. Ron and Susan. PS. Ron doesn't understand that I can do email from my phone haha. I tried to explain then said nah forget it!

I'm Baacckkk, appreciate the concern, Susan measured 17+" of rain over the 3 days, power & net came back up Fri. Night, no damage report at our place. Saturday, Monday & Yesterday I wore another hat, CAP (Civil Air Patrol) we were tasked to assist the Red Cross with damage assessments in 7 parishes. One of the Red Cross cars were hit by a pellet gun in Slidell, guess they didn't want visitors.
