I am glad I stumbled across this site. Its nice to find a place so full of information on American Skiers. I've had our Volante for a couple of years and it has been an excellent boat. Not with out a couple issue though. The main issue is the ski locker completely rotted out and took a small part of the stringer under the helm with it, floor is still solid though. I was hoping to ask a favor, the previous owner removed the blower and cut the wire in the engine compartment. I was hoping another Volante owner could shoot me a pic on the original mounting position and how it exhausted to the rear vents.
Thanks Chris

The 1990 models had Indmar motors in most & had either the blower mounted to the rear of the engine or alongside the engine on a steel bracket. The bottom line is the suction hose is suppose to originate from the lower 1/3 of the motor compartment and then discharge through a glassed in 3" PVC tube alongside the exhaust toward the transom, then elbow up & change back to 3" hose over to the rear vent.
