Title: Dip Stick Tube Needed 1990 Volante w/ 350
Post by: Piper5314 on August 23, 2012, 09:22:21 AM
Does anyone know where I can get a new dip stick tube?  Mine must be bent wrong, cause if I pull the stick out, it takes a act of congress to get the thing back in.  Would like to just get a new one.

Most tubes are soft steel tube & bend pretty easy, inspect yours first & see if there is a "near-kink" bend that could be straightened, I've had them in here where the owner removed the bolt from the tube support to access the spark plugs & never returned the tube support bolt & fought it every time until I simply replaced the bolt. Dipstick & tubes come in a variety of lengths & shapes you need to be carefull here. If confused send me a couple pics of what you have.
