Title: Drive shaft and prop 1988 advance 19adv
Post by: Tbare on August 20, 2012, 09:55:34 AM
Need some help. Hit. Something yesterday skiing and snapped the prop and shaft off just behind the support strut. What length of shaft and size of prop is needed? Is see the transmission end is 1" and tapered with a key. Is the prop end the same? Also where can I get replacement parts quick.

Thanks. Tony

Tanis Research & Design is linked on the home page - I bet he'll get you set up.
Also, bookmark Discount Inboard Marine, they have a lot of parts!
Good luck...I'm headed to the lake!

Ron totally hooked me up with everything I needed, minus the prop. I got that locally! I was blown away by the willingness to help given his busy schedule.

It was the first day of vacation when my boat broke. I had parts from Ron less than 24 hours after I talked with him. Two days off the lake and I had it repaired and pulling the kids again. Vacation.....FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!!.....LOL
