This is not an American Skier as we know them. When WESMAR bought American Skier in 91 they also bought some molds from a local unknown boat builder (Bonita Boats) & began building these in Ocoee Fl. The only thing shared with the boats we are familiar with is the hull side decal.

Actually we did build a few sterndrives, the 24' Eagle open bow was available in direct drive & stern drive, and the 25' Commanche was stern drive only. The Commanche with a duoprop Volvo not only was a neat little "go-fast" boat but it was probably the only boat of it's kind that you could run the slalom course with then run 60+ mph on open lakes without jarring your back apart.
