Yeah, it's got to be wood.. I don't think composite had come along yet..

our 85's were wood stringer boats and solid as a rock
another brand was starting to use all composite back then ...........
they suffered the learning curve so we didn't have to much later

I've emailed him twice and called and left a message!!! No response as of yet and that was on FRIDAY!
