We're '94 eagles all fiberglass?
-
Good question, the 1990 models still had fir stringers encapsulated in glass with all composite floors, but had wood in the non structurals like upholstery. By 1994 WESMAR was producing Am Skiers, '94s probably built in TX depending on serial number. That said the .Eagles I saw from that plant were actually Invader brand sterndrives re-labeled as American Skiers, and they were full of wood. If really interested call me on Monday & give you some things to check. 985-542-4336

Hi I just found this site and am very excited to talk to other American Skier owners. I have a 1990 American Eagle II and about 10 years ago I had to completely remove the stringers and replace them, re-fiberglass over them and replace the floor due to rot. The ends of the stringers were not fiberglassed over and so water got in and damaged them. It is an amazing boat though and good as new now.
