I have small black rubber trailer bearing inserts / dust covers that fit into the buddy bearing covers. These arent the after-market kind as they look to be original equipment with the trailer. One is starting to leak grease out / water in... and the other isnt far behind :(
Does anyone have these, or know where I can get a set??? Preferably new, but used in good condition will also work :)
I'll also post in Parts Wanted... Thanks, Joel

Joel,
You should be able to go to any trailer dealer and they can get what your looking for. There is a place by me, R&P Carriges in Seneca, IL, that I'm sure can get them if they don't stock them. Prices are cheap, shipping will probably be more than the part. They do alot of online sales, you can look them up.

beat the old ones off and replace them with ones with the blue insert
when the blue thing starts to move out, you have enough grease.
find them almost anywhere for about $20

Thanks Brandon, I'll do that.
Dan, this is a nice trailer and the axles were cross-drilled and have the grease nipple already installed in the axle end. You pump in the grease and it fills from the back of the axle towards the front pushing out the old grease you you pump (pretty cool) and it works well. All I need is the little rubber inserts. As a temporary repair, I took both inserts out and worked gasket gunk (basically liquid rubber) into the worn areas and let them cure. So far both are holding up well, but its only a temp fix until I can get the new ones.
Thanks again!
