Title: Seven Boats @ Reunion ???
Post by: Joel on February 06, 2012, 09:03:05 PM
Last time I checked we had well over 20 people with SEVEN boats coming to the Reunion (someone must not have registered yet).   :(   Hopefully, we'll get even more!   It would be nice to have more than 10 boats for our 2nd year!   The local newspaper was interested in writing up a story on the Reunion, the boats, AM Skier, etc...  If we have a big enough turn out it would make a good read  :)

Come on everyone!   SIGN UP!!    8)

I can tell you I have not signed on the dotted line either, and my boat will depend. But the plan is to bring it.

Not sure what my status will be.  I'm having some odd sensations in my back again.  They aren't causing any real deficits in my legs but I am concerned nevertheless.  Going to the doctor on Monday.  Who knows.  There may be a 2002 American Skier Pro with about 150 hours up for sale soon.

Hey Joel,
Maybe consider a different weekend in the future, not fathers day, just a thought.
Thanks..Mike

Mike, we have sort of been through that. It was voted on and for those who planned to attend it was way in favor of fathers day over the weekend before and the weekend after.

It has also been talked about being moved every year, but at the same time we are trying to get a following started so we thought same place same time would be good for the first few years anyway.....

And also for a lot of us, it's the "father" that really wants to go, so what better present then to let us have some fun :)

In the end what ever day works best for the majority.. We can have an "official" poll for 2013.

Yep... what those guys said    ;D   We've discussed it at length and so far its been the best weekend for the majority of attendees.  Also, if we move it earlier in the Spring we have to deal with MORE questionable weather.  Later in the summer we run into even more family obligations, summer vacation conflicts, etc, and the lake will get VERY busy once the "season" starts...   But having said all that, we'll definitely throw it out there for the group to find a better weekend and/or a better place that meets the needs   :)   I'm not sold on any particular date or place.

Actually, someplace in OHIO would work better for me... but, who wants to go waterskiing in O-H-I-O ???  Football... YEAH... Waterskiing... NO...   LOL!!!!

Make it out to KY Lake if you can & bring the family...  it is a great time!
