Title: AS confusion

I know that there is often confusion between the difference of the Correct Craft version and the American Skier version, but this is just rediculious.

I had seen that on ebay. Kind of funny when I first looked through the description, but then kind of sad.......

There was a link on one of the CC websites, apparently the son of the guy that owns Florida Inboards owns that boat.

This is really a screwed up boat, probably a nice affordable ski boat but if your looking for OEM specs, forget it. This looks to be an actual A/S 20' Volante closed bow but the transom has been chopped off! These had "euro" style molded in swim platforms & were very unique boats for their time. I think my brother pointed this one out to me a few years ago & it was involved in some kind of accident which is why it had it transom chopped off.

Accident is an understatement.
