Title: Rebuilt Indmar 350
Post by: Mike Harry on May 20, 2010, 11:47:29 AM
So I rebuilt the ole 350. Im outside now (or 5 min ago anyway) and its about 96 degrees out there with no shade in site. Last 2 parts in the puzzle, carb and starter. Carb on, check..... Starter on, cheeeecccckkkk...... what a min..... when I hooked up the starter it cranked for like 4 or 5 seconds, I let off the trigger (using an inline remote starter cause wiring is not back in boat yet) go to hit it again and..... click, click, click.

Holy crap what a pain in the rectom.

Sorry just had to cool off and vent to someone, and you guys are the only ones around right now (or so your not really around but what the hey)

For all of you who read my rant...... She is running now and running strong! A bad ground in the hot sun with a rising temper equals not a good thing.

After the cool off, I found the ground problem, fired up on the first try!

Today the break in, and fluid change on the velvet drive
