My 1989 Advance is probably going to float on Lake Washington for a couple of months this summer. What is recommended for a mooring cover? I have a ill fitting universal canvass cover that has been good enough to keep cats out of the boat when its in the car port. I need something to keep rain out and still let the boat dry out when covered up and floating after skiing.

Dan & I both have access to custom made covers, I ordered one a few weeks ago for my "rescue" boat ('88 Advance) the pattern still fits perfectly. A custom patterned cover is always a better fit, the question is cotton duck or newer synthetic materials like Sunbrella, then options like how you want to tie it down to the boat, ropes, straps etc.
MAKE SURE YOU AUTO-BILGE PUMP WORKS.

Hello Ron! I have an American Skier Legend...1999 or 2000 I think. I need a new cover. I usually put it on a mooring buoy but I am buying a boat lift to keep it out of the water. Since I have no dock yet, we kayak or swim out to the boat. A tonneau cover would be less material to fold up and keep in the boat when we are skiing. But I'm hesitant to add snaps everywhere. I would definitely want Sunbrella fabric. What do you suggest?
